€80.00Technical Air Operations (or Technical Air Operations) (T.A.E.) was a Greek airline that was started in 1935 by Stefanos Zotos. It flew to many domestic destinations until the German occupation. The Germans destroyed the fleet in April 1941. The company continued to operate after World War II and flew DC-3 Dakota aircraft until 1951 when the Greek government ordered the merger of the three existing companies into a state-owned company called Technical Air Operations—National Air Letters. This airline operated without competition on national routes and offered a small number of destinations to cities in Europe and the Middle East. The airline was sold to Aristotle Onassis in 1957 and he renamed it Olympic Airways
