Dimitrios Zannas was a doctor and a great Macedonian fighter. He carried out enormous National, Social and Humanitarian work.
As a great doctor, he was above all suspicion and this made it easier for him to be the unofficial coordinator of the Macedonian Struggle.
In this document, D. Zannas, in Greek and French (one language on each side of the document), gives a report and signs a chronic mental illness in a patient.
The Secretary of the Consulate General of Greece and the Consul of the Consulate General of Austria-Hungary in Thessaloniki,
attest (in Greek and French respectively) the authenticity of D. Zannas' signature.
There are consular service stamps and seals of the Consulate General of Greece in Thessaloniki and a very rare stamp ''K. UND K. ÖSTERR.-UNGAR. GENERAL CONSULAT IN SALONICH''
