Fuad I (26 March 1868 – 28 April 1936) was the Sultan and later King of Egypt and Sudan. The 9th ruler of Egypt and Sudan from the Mehmed Ali dynasty, he became Sultan in 1917, succeeding his older brother Hussein Kamil. He replaced the title of Sultan with that of King when the United Kingdom unilaterally declared Egypt's independence in 1922.
Albert I (8 April 1875 – 17 February 1934) was King of the Belgians from 23 December 1909 until his death in 1934. He is popularly referred to as the Knight King or Soldier King in Belgium in reference to his role during World War I.
