Thrasyvoulos Zaimis, a Greek politician who was a member of parliament, minister, president of the Parliament and prime minister, was born in 1825 in Kerpini, province of Kalavryta in the prefecture of Achaia and died on October 27, 1880 in Athens of a heart attack and was buried in his birthplace.
