City of Ciney ,3rd Golden Guitar Festival 1964

In 1962, the mayor of the Belgian city decided to erect a huge marquee in the central square of his city to host dozens of amateur Belgian orchestras. It was what he called The Golden Guitar Festival.

In 1964, the festival was presented by Jean Martin and Michel Lemaire, while the "stars" of the event were Hector, Long Chris, Hugues Aufray and the Surfs.
