Thalia Flora-Karavia (Siatista, 1871 – Athens, 1960) was one of the most important and productive Greek painters.
During the period of the Balkan wars, she followed the Greek Army on its campaigns, as a correspondent for the newspaper published by her husband, and depicted numerous war scenes in charcoal, chalk and pastel drawings. She later described her experiences from the events of that time in her book.
