Greek Royal Air Force Flying Cross 1945 with Award
The Flying Cross and Flying Medal 1941 were intended to be awarded to Officers and Non-Commissioned Officers respectively, but were never manufactured. In 1945, the Cross was re-established in a new form, as gold plated, for award to Officers and Non-Commissioned Officers. It is assumed that the Copper Crosses were awarded to those who were awarded the Flying Medal 1941.
